Frequently asked questions
How do you measure the return on an AI investment?
We agree the measure before we build. That usually means a baseline you can point at today — hours spent on a process, calls missed, time to resolution, cost per transaction — and a target we review against real data after go-live. If a proposed project has no measurable outcome attached to it, we will tell you so rather than build it.
Why not just buy an off-the-shelf AI product?
Often you should, and we will say so. Where off-the-shelf tools fall short is integration with your existing systems, your data, and the specifics of how your organization actually works. We start with the business problem and recommend the simplest thing that solves it — which is sometimes a product, sometimes a configuration, and sometimes a build.
Do we have to manage the platform accounts ourselves?
You own them, but you are not left alone with them. We create and configure the accounts with you in one session, and we monitor them afterwards. You hold the login and the payment method — that is what keeps you in control and keeps your usage costs at cost rather than marked up.
What happens when the AI cannot answer?
It transfers to a person, or takes a message and emails you a summary within the minute. We tune the escalation rules during the first month based on real transcripts, so the handover points match how your team actually works rather than how we guessed they would.
Can it replace our reception or support team?
No, and we do not sell it that way. It covers overflow, after-hours, and the calls and messages that currently go to voicemail or an empty inbox. Organizations that position it as a replacement get worse results and more complaints. The agent also identifies itself as an AI assistant at the start of every interaction.
How do you handle data privacy and compliance?
You are the data controller. A data processing agreement is signed before go-live, the retention period is agreed in writing at kickoff, and privacy is handled to PIPEDA and the relevant provincial standards. Security, governance and responsible adoption are part of the design, not an afterthought.
